GC Fuji IX GP Product Description

This product is a strontium-containing, packable, high-strength glass ionomer restorative for posterior teeth. It features all the excellent properties of a glass ionomer, with physical strength optimized for posterior cavity fillings.

Primary Indications

1. Class I and Class II restorations in primary posterior teeth.

2. Class I and Class II restorations in non-stress-bearing areas of permanent teeth.

3. Intermediate restorative and base material for stress-bearing Class I and Class II cavities in permanent teeth (Sandwich technique).

4. Class IV and root surface restorations.

5. Core build-up.

Clinical Procedure

1. Surface Conditioning: Apply GC DENTIN CONDITIONER (containing 10% Polyacrylic Acid) or the Fuji IX GP liquid to the cavity surface for 20 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with water, then pack the mixed Fuji IX GP into the cavity.

2. Contouring: Shape and contour the restoration within the working time. For Class II cavities, a matrix band should be placed in advance.

3. Finishing & Polishing: Perform finishing and polishing under water spray approximately 5 minutes after the initial placement.

4. Surface Protection: After polishing, apply Vaseline (Petroleum Jelly) or GC COCOA BUTTER for waterproof protection.
