Instructions for Use
Interproximal reduction (IPR) is achieved through continuous reciprocating motion of the strip to remove enamel. Then use a gap gauge to measure the gap width you need to achieve.
Precautions
There must be an existing gap when using the IPR blades to operate; if there is no gap, do not force them in, otherwise the blade will deform or be damaged.
Separation rings can be used to create a temporary gap to facilitate tool use.
In theory: Use coarse grit first, then standard grit strips for enamel reduction, followed by fine and extra-fine grit for polishing.
If only a small amount of reduction is required, fine grit strips can also be used for the reduction process.
After reduction is complete, polishing and fluoridation must be performed, otherwise the teeth will be prone to decay.
Color Coding
Green: Coarse Grit
Blue: Standard Grit
Red: Fine Grit
Yellow: Extra-Fine Grit
Safety Warning
Avoid cutting the patient's gums or lips during the reduction procedure.
